This study compared the diagnostic efficacy of home prepared diets or a commercial limited-antigen diet (fish as antigen source) for adverse food reactions in dogs. After diagnosing an adverse food reaction with a home prepared diet, the dogs were fed a commercial limited-antigen diet, and 50% of the dogs suffered reactions, suggesting that fish is not a desirable ingredient in dogs with adverse food reactions.
